I have the idea of doing a 32x60" kerdi
shower along this wall. As you can see, a lot of the area is sloped and a joist is in the way of where the drain needs to go.

ceiling or wall?
If I cut through the boards at the first angle, will it be a problem. This is a 10.5 X 9.5 room and seems to be overbuilt to handle a hackjob like i'm planning to do.

How do I run this vent?
I have to run this vent out of the roof. I'm concerned because the hole I have to cut will end up cutting the plates in half. Am I going to have to soffit this?
